“It’s Worth The Burn” is a photographic essay that explores a variety of culture in South Florida. A region mostly known for tourism is attracting more permanent residents. People are trading the harsh winters of the North for the severe sunburns of the South. The laid-back beach culture is beginning to clash with fast-paced city life and large development projects. “It’s Worth The Burn” aims to provide a photographic juxtaposition of the current reality in South Florida.
