I've been painting murals in Miami for over ten years and what I've learned is that it can be a fun yet demanding journey. The process of being a mural artist in Miami involves a blend of creativity, community engagement, and navigating logistical challenges.
David The Agency Mural in Wynwood
2 murals in one week - is something that I will never do again. This was the second mural that I completed back in January for the cool dudes over at David The Agency. They have an awesome office and dedicated staff. A few of them, including Tomas, Brenda, and Anastasia put in late nights with me to make sure this was done by the end of the weekend. There is always a lot of pressure painting creative agencies because they have so many talented people working in their office. I tried my hardest to make sure this would be something they could enjoy looking at every day. Thank you to everyone at David for making this happen.
Casa De Crunch
It’s Super Bowl time and you know what that means, I’m not sure what it means - I’ve never played or watched football in my life. Although, the 2020 Super Bowl is particularly special to me. Back in December I was asked to create an illustration for a mural installation at the Casa De Crunch, a Super Bowl activation sponsored by Frito-Lay and the NFL. Together, with the help of my awesome friends, we completed the 30’ long by 9’ high mural in 2 days at Bayfront Park in Miami.
Huge thanks to New Creatures for asking me to work on this project. Also very grateful for the patience and hard-work ethic from my friend, Nina Marcus-Kurlonko. Check out more pics from the mural here.
